Twenty-two native redbud trees, three river birch, and hundreds of daffodils planted at the exit ramp. This landscaping provides a beautiful show of color in the Spring as the redbuds and daffodils bloom together…a warm welcome to the Ladue business district.
Prior to planting, extensive work was done to remove honeysuckle, dead/declining trees, invasives, and debris. The turf was also renovated.
We visited all past projects to ensure they meet our landscape standards. Fortunately, since we chose plants that are indigenous or proven to thrive in Missouri, only a few plants needed replacement. In addition, we trimmed, weeded, and mulched all sites as needed.
2023
Forty viburnum bushes were added to the existing viburnum hedge at SE corner of 64/40 and Lindbergh Blvd. The evergreen hedge will provide white flowers in the Spring and berries in the Fall. Prior to planting, extensive work was done to remove large honeysuckle bushes, and other declining/dead trees and invasives. This area that had not been maintained since the rebuild of highway 64/40 in 2008 is now clean and attractive again.

Ten arborvitae green giant trees were added to the landscape at Ladue and Price Roads. These trees are in addition to the five trees and flowering bushes we planted in 2018 making this corner even more attractive.
Prior to planting we removed invasive honeysuckle and other declining plants.
Fall 2021
Twelve Royal Raindrop Crabapple trees were added to frame the perimeter and will flower in the Spring adding color to the landscape. Four Norway Spruces were planted in front of the highway wall and utility building to serve as a screen. Two indigenous Bald Cypress trees were placed near existing cypress creating a grove of beautiful trees.
Prior to planting we removed twelve dead or declining trees, seeded the turf, trimmed ad mulched other healthy trees. It all adds up to a lovely landscape at one of the major entrances/exits for our city.
